Description and scope of the data processing
ROAD & RAIL stores all data that is voluntarily given to us by companies or persons that we are doing business with, for the purpose of carrying out transport services, filing master data, issuing offers, sending newsletters, generating invoices, handling in- and outgoing payments, using MS-office.
We exclusively store and process data that you give us (including data from your homepage and letterhead). There is no reconciliation with third-party databases and your data is protected externally and will be handled internally by our management, administration and the transport departments. External IT-service providers are bound to their obligation to confidentiality and may not pass on or process any data that they come to see during their employment.
Use of data
ROAD & RAIL processes the data given to ensure outstanding customer service and to maintain mutually beneficial client relationships. In no case will any data be passed on to third parties without your actual consent to do so, except where public authorities or courts force us to do so. Establishing contact will be via phone numbers or email-adresses that you provide to us.
We reserve the right to inform you about available trucks or other opportunities
Newsletters (truck availability information)

Deletion of your data
All data will be stored on our systems within the legal and contractual retention periods. Data will be deleted/deactivated from our systems latest 10 years after the business relationship has ceased to exist.
